The quincunx is a West African geometric pattern of five points arranged like the five side of a die.
The central dot is often interpreted as the axis mundi, or the world center, connecting heaven and earth—a place of divine origin or illumination.
  • In this view, the center represents God, the divine spark, or pure consciousness, while the surrounding four points denote manifestation in the material world (north, south, east, west).
  • The fractal repetition symbolizes how divine light radiates infinitely from the center.
